Course Description:
The TTL NA Core Sessions will cover the basic skills needed to
administer a school network. No prerequisite knowledge of networking
is required for this four-week course. Topics include hardware
upgrades and replacement. Windows NT administration, an introduction
to Windows 2000 server, Win 98, 2000, and XP desktop. Special topics
will include wireless technologies, and streaming video.

Windows 2000 Administration

Course Description:
The TTLNA Windows 2000 Sessions will cover the skills needed to
administer a Windows 2000 Active Directory school network. With an
introduction to Windows 2003.
LAN/WAN Security/Disaster Recovery

Course Description:
The TTLNA Windows 2000 Sessions will cover Local Area Network and
Wide Area Network security. Discussions will include firewalls,
scanning, hacks, and physical security for your network components
and data.

Course Description:
This TTLNA Windows 2000 Session will cover the essential skills
needed to facilitate multimedia in K-12 environments. Topics include
streaming video from your network, planning and implementing a
wireless network in your school, using PDA and GPS technologies in
your schools This will be a hand-on session with participants able
to set-up and configure wireless devices, configure servers for
handling the video streaming, and using PDA and GPS technologies. |
